Overview

 

Whether you aspire to play Bach or Alicia Keys, Joyner's School o Music is dedicated piano instructors will help you become the pianist you want to be. Our faculty will introduce you to the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, and incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons. You do not need a piano at home to take lessons; a simple full-size electronic keyboard will suffice for the first six months.

What styles of Piano do you teach?

We teach all styles, from rock, pop, jazz, and blues to metal, country and classical.

How qualified are your guitar instructors?

Our piano and music instructors have received their education from prestigious institutions such as New York University, Stetson University, North Carolina Central University, Indiana University, the Berklee College of Music, Oxford University, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Santa Fe College, Virginia Commonwealth University, South Carolina Governors School for the Arts, the Atlanta Guitar Institute and Columbia College. Many have toured the US, South America and Europe, and bring over 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons.

Do I have to know how to read music?

No. Beginners are welcome!

Do I need to purchase a piano to learn the instrument?

Yes, since we work virtually at this time, our students will provide their own piano for their lessons. An electric keyboard or bigger is fine for lessons.

PRICING

$40 / 30 minutes

Lessons are available seven days a week, and scheduled once a week.

A one-time registration fee is $25.
